Every day at Interfaith Neighbors, we are here for individuals and families who are in need of a helping hand - whether it be help with a one-time rent payment due to an unexpected car breakdown or several months of subsidies for a single mother who's been laid off from her job, but back to work and behind on hert mortgage.
Interfaith is here for the elderly, allowing them to stay in their own homes longer with socialization and meal delivery through the Meals on Wheels program. Often the person who knocks on the door is the only person they see each day.
Young adults who need a helping hand getting starting in the workforce find opportunity at Interfaith Neighbors' Kula Cafe and Urban Farm, where they learn the ins and outs of the restaurant and farming businesses and receive one-on-one mentoring in job placements with area employers.
And, for the first time home buyers, who, with financial counseling and homes built by Interfaith Neighbors, can begin building equity and celebrate holidays and special occasions proudly in their own homes.
So please join our cause and consider a gift to support the work we do at Interfaith Neighbors. Your gift will truly help to change someone's life for the better.
